Over 60s: Nerja 2 – 1 AC Benahavís Deportivo

A reshaped Deportivo side took to the pitch, with several absentees including player-manager Colin McGeary, who had been taken seriously ill the previous week. The lads were clearly determined to do Colin proud—and they did just that with a performance full of heart, discipline, and togetherness. From the first whistle, Deportivo showed intent. Another penalty was awarded, and JC showed real character to step up again and calmly slot home to make it 2–1. In the dying moments, Ian unleashed a superb effort destined for the top corner—only to be denied by a fantastic save. Full time, and although the result didn’t go our way, the performance spoke volumes. A season concluded with pride, resilience, and plenty to look back on .
